Tokyo Police Club's Graham Wright may have a promising solo career

Every once in a while you stumble upon a gem where you’d least expect it. I love Tokyo Police Club, but I didn’t know anything about their keyboardist, Graham Wright, and his serious skills.

On Twitter, Wright’s name popped up on TPC’s feed, and I checked out his MySpace. Apparently, Wright does work on the side, mixing music and playing acoustic guitar as well. Check out his new song, “Heavens Just for Moviemakers.” It’s vintage TPC music, except it’s got a little edge to it. It’s bubble-gum music, sure, but it rocks pretty hard.

Just goes to show you that there’s a lot more talent in a band than you think.
