New Green Day Album On The Horizon

It has been more than four years since American Idiot was released.  Fifteen million albums later, Green Day is finally back in the studio working on a follow up. Not to many details on the upcoming album except that it will be produced by Butch Vig (who is responsible for the production on Nirvana’s Nevermind, and the Smashing Pumpkins’ Gish).

American Music Award Nominations

The nominations for the American Music Awards were announced today with Alicia Keys grabbing five nomination. Artist of the year looks like the category to watch this year. When will we ever see Lil Wayne and the Eagles nominated for the same award again? The full list can be seen here.
