Bonaroo, named the best music festival in the world by Rolling Stone Magazine, has announced dates for 2009. The festival will take place from June 11-14, on its usual farm property located in Manchester, TN. Perhaps due to the economic crisis, this will be the first year that fans can pay for tickets in five installments of $50. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale Dec. 4 for $209.50. The festival lineup will not be announced until early next year.

Live Nation at Blockbuster

Live Nation is making news again in the music world. This time, they have inked a three-year deal with Blockbuster Video, that will allow Live Nation to sell concert tickets out of 500 Blockbuster retail locations across the country.  Tickets will go on sale in 2009.

Axl vs. Dr. Pepper

After releasing their first album in 17 years, Guns n’ Roses currently finds themselves in a legal battle with Dr. Pepper. Earlier this year, the soda company promised everyone in a America one free Dr. Pepper if the long-awaited Chinese Democracy was released by GN’R. Although the album was released two weeks ago, Dr. Pepper gave fans only 24 hours to redeem the coupon for their free soda.
